 ortunity. The Excellence Peer Reviewer training will be from 1:00 pm to 5:
 00 pm Eastern on Wednesday\, November 20th and Wednesday\, December 4th.\n
 \nParticipants must attend both sessions to become eligible to serve as a 
 Peer Reviewer and to earn the “Pathways to Excellence Peer Reviewer” desig
 nation.\n\n\nWhy Become a Peer Reviewer?\nCurrent Peer Reviewers consisten
 tly report that their experience evaluating submissions from other agencie
 s has helped them better understand how to guide their own agencies toward
  stronger commitments to excellence and recognition as an Agency of Excell
 ence. Additionally Peer Reviewers tell NCAP that they learn new techniques
  and ideas when they read about how other CAAs are approaching the Standar
 ds of Excellence.  Also consider this: when the Community Action Network e
 ngages in excellence\, the ultimate beneficiaries are our customers. Accom
 plishing excellent results moves us closer towards mission achievement and
  benefits our entire Network.\n\nTraining Topics Will Include:\nHow to rec
 ognize the requirements of each of the Community Action Standards of Excel
 lence\nUnderstanding key terminology and how to spot “excellence” where it
  is happening\nHow to evaluate and score Pathways submissions in each of t
 he program’s recognized tiers\nHow to write powerful\, helpful feedback co
 mments\, and more!\nEnrollment Fee\n $449 per person\, payable prior to No
 vember 20.\n\nThe Verified Pathways to Excellence Peer Reviewer Designatio
 n\nParticipants that attend the full 8 hours of training (four hours per d
 ay)\, are eligible to become a “Verified Pathways to Excellence Peer Revie
 wer” – a new\, formal\, professional designation from NCAP and the Excelle
 nce Commission. Additional information about how to earn the designation w
 ill be provided in the training session.  (Note that current Peer Reviewer
 s as well as individuals who completed Peer Reviewer training in the Fall 
 of 2023 will also be eligible to earn the Verified Pathways to Excellence
