Rob Axson
Rob Axson has worked in public affairs and community engagement for nearly 20 years, with experience in campaign strategy, organizational leadership, and coalition-building. He currently serves as Chair of the Utah Republican Party, where he focuses on strengthening statewide coordination and supporting civic participation efforts.
Rob previously spent over a decade working in the U.S. Senate, including serving as state director for Senator Mike Lee. He has also been involved in numerous local and statewide campaigns, contributing in areas such as grassroots outreach, volunteer training, and communications.
Throughout his career, Rob has been involved in efforts to increase public involvement in the political process, including improvements to Utah’s caucus and convention systems. He is particularly interested in fostering constructive dialogue and strengthening community institutions.
Rob holds a degree in international politics and conflict resolution from the University of Utah. He lives in Cottonwood Heights with his wife and four children, and enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time outdoors.
