UNA - Grants Management
Don’t know how to tell a funder that a grant isn’t going as planned? Unsure of why a funder always has a million follow-up questions after reviewing a grant report or why a renewal grant was declined? Having trouble getting needed data from teammates or in knowing what data the funder wants to see in a report? Join our partners at the Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits for this session on all things grant management.
Knowing how to manage grants and grant relationships is just as crucial as the grant writing and application process. This training will cover all the bases on grant management. The topics covered in this three-hour session will include:
Maintaining positive relationships with funders
How to approach a funder with a grant adjustment request
Navigating collaborative grant projects
Effective data tracking
Requirement compliance
Common oversights in writing report narratives
Managing and reporting on grant finances
Responsibilities and coordination of programs, development and finance staff
Diving into your questions, challenges, and experiences
