Supporting Utah's Economy
Community Action Agencies provide employment opportunities and professional development opportunities that support Utah's economy. Many individuals who work for Community Action Agencies were former customers who are now supporting other individuals in their journeys towards greater self-reliance. Community Action Agencies, with support from training and technical assistance partners, such as CAP Utah, provide opportunities to increase knowledge, gain skills, and to grow professionally. Many programs, including Weatherization and Head Start, provide professional credentialing to assist individuals with their professional journeys.
It is also important to recognize that in some parts of rural Utah, a single job can have the same impact as 12 jobs in Utah's urban core.
