UNA - Salt Lake City Nonprofit Forum
Join Mayor Mendenhall, Utah Nonprofits Association, representatives from Salt Lake City, and other SLC nonprofits for an afternoon of ideas, collaboration, partnership, and more.
The first ever Salt Lake City Forum brings stakeholders from nonprofits and SLC together to create relationships, collaborate, and find new ways to solve problems and elevate our communities. Our goal is to build a true community working in concert to make our lives, city, and world better. And all of that starts with meaningful conversation.
Overview
The Salt Lake City Forum begins with a welcome from Mayor Mendenhall and includes two rounds of collaborations. You'll join a table focused on your cause area with people from nonprofits and City Staff members. Everyone at the table will share a micro-presentation that identifies their most pressing problems and ways that they can contribute. Following the presentations, you'll break into smaller groups to form deeper relationships and identify potential opportunities to work together. After a brief break, you'll find a new table to begin the second round of collaborations as you connect with new people in your next table group.
The Forum will bring like-minded people together to spark ideas and connections, but the real impact happens after relationships and ideas catch fire.
