UNA -Nonprofit Credential in Fundraising and Development

Successful fundraising is achieved by doing common things uncommonly well. The focus of this course is to create meaningful and lasting change in how your organization secures funding, by meeting you where you're at.
Course Description
As agents of philanthropy, our organizations have ethical and fiduciary commitments to our communities to handle funds appropriately, honor donors' wishes, and maintain sufficient funds to carry out our missions. Join UNA and Subject Matter Expert, Andrea Bott, to learn practical and actionable steps to grow your organization's capacity to fundraise, with an emphasis on ethical practices. We'll cover concepts like:

Ethical and Effective Fundraising: Do you take a best practices and highest standards approach when generating resources?
Funding Diversity Strategies: Do you have a diverse funding portfolio and/or are you diversifying your portfolio effectively?
Resource Planning and Evaluation: Do you have an effective goal setting, planning, and evaluation process?
Staff and Board Roles: Do you involve stakeholders effectively and appropriately?
Programming
The Nonprofit Credential in Fundraising and Development includes two days of online training, a 1:1 consultation with your team and Lisa Maxwell, and ongoing coaching and support. Successful completion of the course and its deliverables will earn your organization the UNA Badge in Fundraising and Development. Learn more about this course what is required to earn the Badge.

Who Should Attend
The Credential is intended for 501(c) nonprofit leaders and staff, including but not limited to, executive directors, senior management staff, program directors and managers, development directors and managers, human resource professionals, accounting and finance professionals, and other key team members at nonprofit organizations. Volunteers and board members are also welcome to participate so they can help implement best practices and new strategies at their organizations. Individual nonprofit professionals can participate to further develop their knowledge and skills, however, the real benefit of the Credential lies in the practical application of course material to participants' organizations. This way, the Credential not only educates, but also drives real change within organizations.

Cost
UNA Members: $180 for the first participant/$40 for each additional participant
Not-Yet-Members: $360 for the first participant/$80 for each additional participant
