NCAP - Intro Webinar: Emerging WFA Regional Cohort

Monday, April 1, 2024
11:00 am12:00 pm

The National Community Action Partnership (NCAP) is seeking applications for a new Regional Whole Family Approach Community of Practice (COP). Community-based human service organizations and tribal governments in the following 8 states are invited to apply: Alaska, Idaho, Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Washington, and Wisconsin.

During this two-year, intensive learning experience, at least 6 community-based organizations will gain the knowledge and support needed to catalyze social and economic mobility for families by applying a multi-generational approach to their work. Through a combination of virtual monthly meetings, special in-person convenings, customized training and technical assistance, and individualized coaching, participants will receive deep grounding in the foundations of the Whole Family Approach framework and hands-on support as they design and pilot their Whole Family Approach implementation efforts. This Community of Practice is grant-funded and made available at no cost to participating organizations.

Whole Family Approaches build family well-being and advance social and economic mobility by intentionally and simultaneously working with children and the adults in their lives together. Providing integrated, high-quality, intentional supports to parents and children at the same time has the potential to improve both parent and child social and economic well-being producing a legacy of family well-being that passes from one generation to the next.

Applications open on March 25, 2024 and will be due on April 25, 2024.

Join the NCAP Team for this informational webinar and live Q&A session to learn more about how Whole Family Approach is being used to interrupt the intergenerational cycle of poverty for families, hear more about this unique learning opportunity, and find out how your organization can apply.
