NCAP - Improving Processes for Energy Auditor and Quality Control Inspector Certification in WAP
Join the National Renewable Energy Laboratory and U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) for the first Continuous Improvement Workshop of 2024. We will discuss challenges and barriers to certification, learn about updates already in the works, and crowdsource new ideas that can help streamline processes for weatherization individuals and agencies.
The Continuous Improvement Workshops are open to all WAP stakeholders and offer an opportunity for participants to identify challenges and solutions that will be shared directly with DOE. For this workshop, priority will go to current and former certified EAs and QCIs. We encourage managers and directors to work with their EA and QCI staff to ensure they are adequately represented. DOE may make decisions to prioritize certain applicants to ensure balanced representation from different stakeholders.
WAP agencies can utilize Training and Technical Assistance (T&TA) funds to cover time and costs for staff to participate in this workshop.
