NCAP - Voices from the Clean Energy Workforce: Lessons from This Year’s National Solar Jobs Census
The Interstate Renewable Energy Council (IREC) has released its annual National Solar Jobs Census report, a comprehensive overview of solar industry job growth and the state of the workforce. For the first time, this year’s report included a qualitative study based on anonymous interviews with solar industry representatives, providing new insight into challenges and strategies related to workforce development and diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA).
In this National Clean Energy Workforce Alliance webinar, sponsored by Bank of America, IREC staff will review the quantitative and qualitative results of the National Solar Jobs Census and their implications for today’s workforce in solar and other clean energy industries. We’ll open the floor to discussion on the report’s findings and a path forward.
