Utah Diaper Distribution Demonstration and Research Project

The Utah Diaper Demonstration and Research Project (Utah DDDRP)

The Utah Diaper Distribution Demonstration and Research Project - Working to close Utah's Diaper Gap

Community Action Partnership of Utah, the Utah Diaper Bank, and Community Action Agencies in our Association are working together on a project called the Diaper Distribution Demonstration and Research Project (Utah DDDRP). This project wants to show how having enough diapers can help families stay healthy and save money. It's not just about giving out diapers, but also helping families in many ways. The groups in Utah work together to help families with different needs and connect them to other helpful services.

Families who make less money can apply for this program at local groups. They will need to fill out an application, show their income from the last 30 days, and answer some questions. When they join, they will talk about their needs and fill out more surveys for the project.

The Utah DDDRP also helps two diaper banks in Utah, the Utah Diaper Bank and Little Lambs Foundations, to grow. This means families in Utah will have better access to diapers for a long time.

The Community Action Partnership of Utah hopes this project will help families have more money, give more resources to diaper banks across the country, and make stronger connections between diaper banks and other help groups.
